Adidas Unleash USWNT Inspired miadidas Boots

Adidas USWNT miadidas Collection

We are closing in on the big Women’s World Cup kick-off, and Adidas are jumping in on the custom boot action with a series of miadidas designed boots that will be worn by USWNT players. USA players Becky Sauerbrunn, Morgan Brian, Lori Chalupny, Heather O’Reilly and Christie Rampone designed their own pairs and will wear them on field May 10 vs. Ireland.

Who doesn’t love a fresh pair of custom boots, right?

These designs are even more intriguing since we will see them worn on the World’s biggest stage. We are still awaiting a more focused adidas release for Women’s soccer, but this is a positive step as it gives players something new to watch out for, while also creating a new wave of inspiring designs. Below is a short blurb adidas passed to me on why each player chose their preferred design.

For those interested, here is where you can find the entire USWNT miadidas Collection.

Becky Sauerbrunn (Predator Instinct) loves camo and what it represents when she steps onto the field – being courageous and selfless.

Lori Chalupny mif50

Lori Chalupny (f50 adiZero) kept things simple and classic with a splash of red, white and blue.

Heather O’Reilly (Predator Instinct) wanted her cleats to look classy and sleek and incorporated simple colors that made the USA flag stand out.
