New Balance Start Search for #NBBlackoutSquad | Competition

NB Blackoutsquad competition

New Balance Football is launching the search for 360 players from around the world to join the NB Blackout Squad – a team of players who will get to join the New Balance Football brand  in a very exciting capacity.

Joining NB Football stars like Aaron Ramsey and Vincent Kompany, winners of the NB Blackout Squad competition will get pre-release football boots and kit, including blacked-out prototype models ahead of the official NB Football boots launch in July.

The sign-up stage begins on 9th March 2015, closing on 6th April 2015.

Inspired by the practice of pro-footballers trialling blacked out boots when testing new product, competition winners will be the first members of public in the world to get their hands on the highly sought-after New Balance boots.

Competition entrants will be able to apply locally in six different regions: the UK, USA, Spain, Japan, China and Australia.

In addition to the regional initiatives, there will also be a global competition, with sixty winners. Those chosen as part of the squad will receive new product drops throughout the 2015/16 season in the latest colourways before they hit the shelves.

“This is a dream come true for so many amateur players. There is nothing quite like the feeling when you put on new boots and kit for the first time and being able to wear it before your closest rivals, I’m sure the winners will feel 10 feet tall! I’m looking forward to welcoming the winners to the New Balance team.” – Aaron Ramsey

To earn a place on the Blackout Squad, applicants will be challenged in different ways dependent on the geographical location of their entry, so head to @NBFootball on twitter to find out how to enter for each region.
